The facility

Built right next to the slag.

One furnace, one source. Our mill draws slag directly from the adjacent blast furnace, so every batch starts from the same feedstock. The result is single-source supply with stable chemistry and a supply chain measured in metres, not shipping lanes.

The chemistry of strength

Chemistry behind GGBFS.

Cement hydration produces C-S-H, the binding phase, plus Ca(OH)₂. GGBFS reacts with that Ca(OH)₂ to form additional C-S-H, giving a denser, more durable matrix.

Zooming into the particles.

Flip the toggle. Each amber Ca(OH)₂ crystal converts into additional C-S-H in place, the binder packs tighter, and the capillary pores close up.

Performance vs full OPC

What GGBFS does for concrete.

Tougher concrete.

A pore-refined matrix gives high resistance to chloride ingress, sulfate attack and ASR. Service life extended where it matters most: marine, mass pours, aggressive ground.
