Eastern Recycling Sdn Bhd (“the Company”, “we”, “our” or “us”) respects the privacy of individuals with regard to personal data. This Privacy Notice is issued in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“the Act”). “You” refers to yourself and any other persons or companies represented by you whose personal data you provide to us.
A. Information collected
The personal data we collect about you may include your name, job title, employer or company details, business contact details (telephone number, email address, correspondence address), the content of your enquiry, delivery site and logistics details, and billing or account details relating to a supply transaction.
Where you or your personnel attend our premises or perform deliveries, we may additionally collect driver and vehicle details for site access, safety and security purposes. Where credit terms are requested, we may collect financial information relevant to assessing a credit application.
Your personal data may be collected from: information you provide to us by any means; information submitted through this website; information from third parties, including referrals; and information obtained independently by us from other lawful sources.
B. Purpose of collection
By providing your personal data to the Company, you agree that we may collect, retain and use it for the following purposes:
- responding to your enquiry and issuing quotations;
- performing our contractual obligations, including order processing, scheduling, delivery and logistics;
- invoicing, payment processing and credit control, including assessment of credit applications;

Your personal data will be kept confidential, but you agree that we may disclose and transfer it (whether within or outside Malaysia) to third parties where necessary or appropriate for the purposes in section B, including: our haulage, transport and logistics contractors; testing laboratories and certification bodies; auditors, solicitors and professional advisers; bankers, insurers and credit reference agencies; information technology and service providers who support this website and our systems; and any relevant governmental, regulatory or statutory authority.
This Privacy Notice applies to Eastern Recycling Sdn Bhd only. It does not extend to any other company, whether or not related to us, save where disclosure to such a company is necessary for a purpose set out in section B.
D. Impact of not providing personal data
If sufficient personal data is not supplied, or is not satisfactory to the Company, your enquiry, order or application may not be accepted or acted upon, and we may be unable to provide the full range of our products and services or to perform our obligations under any potential or existing contract with you.
E. Storage and retention
Your personal data may be stored in hard copy at our offices or on servers located within or outside Malaysia. Personal data is retained for a period of seven (7) years, or for such longer period as is required to satisfy any legal, regulatory, tax or accounting requirement, or to protect the Company’s interests in relation to an actual or potential claim.
We do not offer an online facility for you to delete personal data held by us. Requests may be made in writing using the contact details in section K.
F. How we handle email and enquiry messages
We may preserve the content of any email or enquiry message we receive. Any personal data contained in those messages will be used or disclosed only in the ways set out in this Privacy Notice. Message content may be monitored by our service providers or employees for purposes including compliance, auditing and maintenance, or where email abuse is suspected.
G. Non-personal data collected automatically
When you access this website, non-personal data may be collected automatically, such as browser type and operating system, the domain name of the website from which you came, number of visits, average time spent on the site and pages viewed. We may use this data to monitor and improve the performance and content of the website.

C. Penggunaan dan pendedahan

E. Penyimpanan dan pengekalan
Data peribadi anda mungkin disimpan dalam salinan bercetak di pejabat kami atau dalam pelayan yang terletak di dalam atau di luar Malaysia. Data peribadi disimpan selama tujuh (7) tahun, atau tempoh lebih lama yang diperlukan bagi memenuhi kehendak undang-undang, pengawalseliaan, cukai atau perakaunan, atau bagi melindungi kepentingan Syarikat berhubung sesuatu tuntutan.
F. Pengendalian e-mel dan pesanan pertanyaan
