The facility
One furnace, one source. Our mill draws slag directly from the adjacent blast furnace, so every batch starts from the same feedstock. The result is single-source supply with stable chemistry and a supply chain measured in metres, not shipping lanes.
Slag moves across the yard, not down a highway. Furnace and mill share one industrial park.
Every tonne is milled from a single blast furnace, so composition stays consistent batch after batch.
Feedstock is committed at source. No reliance on traded slag of mixed or unknown origin.
From slag to powder
Quench molten slag fast enough and it locks into a glassy, reactive state. Five stages from furnace to powder.
Classified as blast-furnace cement under EN 197 at high replacement levels.

The chemistry of strength
Cement hydration produces C-S-H, the binding phase, plus Ca(OH)₂. GGBFS reacts with that Ca(OH)₂ to form additional C-S-H, giving a denser, more durable matrix.

Flip the toggle. Each amber Ca(OH)₂ crystal converts into additional C-S-H in place, the binder packs tighter, and the capillary pores close up.
